Welcome to St. Joseph Catholic School
Evergreen Catholic:
“Ever Growing, Learning, and Living in Christ”
Welcome back everyone. We hope you had a restful and enjoyable summer. The staff of St. Joseph Catholic School is excited to be back and we are looking forward to a great 2011-2012 school year.
Our school year theme is based on our new ECSRD NO.2 vision statement. This new vision statement will be represented in all division schools this year. The vision reaffirms that we are faced with the educational challenges of the 21st century. We need to embrace “life-long” learning in the effort to continually prepare our students for the ever changing world that they are facing. The second part of this new vision statement reminds us that we embrace this challenge in the love of Jesus Christ that we find in our Catholic tradition. We look forward to planning our school celebrations and professional development around our new vision statement this year.
Our school mission statement indicates that the full development of our students will be a combined effort between home, school and our parish community. As parents you are the primary educators of your children. Thank-you for entrusting your children into our care. On behalf of my administrative partner, Cathy Schiiler, and the entire St. Joseph School Staff we look forward to working with parents to make the 2011-2012 school year a very positive and memorable experience for your child.
